Yeah, patio furniture and shoes are not of much interest to me, either. Yet, it is for others. Most of the time, the TV offer would not have been enticing -- it just happened to hit when I had been shopping for one.

I'm not sure why one of the posters that said they sent back the non-KSO and traded for the KSO claimed they didn't get to take advantage of the $25 lower price - unless they happened to have bought one during the $25 gift card promotion for Mother's Day.

As for Audible, I've found their CS to be great (there was a free audiobook offer that I had trouble getting to work and they added it to my account immediately, much faster than dealing with Kindle CS on that cross-promotional offer). Did you finally end up having to cancel the free trial (which I believe was recommended well before you ended up getting about three free books credit)?

My experience was that they had no clue as to what was going on. Always told that someone was working on it and that they'd contact me. When contact didn't happen, more phone calls initiated the same response. Finally, I was contacted last week and told that my promo was activated, with no explanation as to what the problem was. I sent a response requesting details and so far, nothing. I really don't expect an answer.

I'm sad I missed the shoes one. I could have used that, but it wasn't on my kindle by the time I got it, sadly. I don't know if I'll do as well as some others have with special offers, but I've been able to take advantage of several of them already, and I'm pretty pleased with it.

It's just a matter of time. Though you won't do as well as those who signed on early, over the long haul, you should do quite well. Eventually, the offers will net you a "free" KSO.

That's exactly what happened. I have since given up on the Special Offers entirely. Other than the gift card, they have been worthless for me. So I have just removed the offers entirely and I now have a single screen saver reminding me to download offers which will never happen.

At least I am no worse off, after return costs and the gift card I am a couple of bucks ahead and I have a single screen saver I can live with. Back to reading.

Well I'm gonna un-woohoo lol. The coupon doesn't apply to one of the main things I wanted to get lol.

ETA: Re-woohoo! Baby gates are included in the promotion! Don't need one for the kid but great for puppies lol.

LOL! We have one up now -- but at 35 lbs, our 3 month old is about to figure out he can crash it if he wants.

Plain cloth diapers = great dusting cloths
(if you have babies, there are now cool fitted microfiber cloth diapers)

I saw some washcloths. Toys, though, didn't look tough enough to survive our "baby". I probably won't use this one (amongst several, so far).

But, just the $10 book offers now and then will probably pay off for most readers of the KSO.

Lol I have a box of cloth diapers in the closet, most of it went unused. My son hated them. I didn't even think of using them for dusting, great idea.

There's actually a lot of things I'd like to use the coupon for but not really in the financial situation to buy a baby specific item when I'm not even pregnant yet xD The thing I wanted the coupon for was an ear infection checker but apparently it's sold by a third party so it doesn't count.

So I got $40 worth of stuff from Amazon games, they were on the buy one get one free sale so it went down to $20. I used my $10 off coupon and knocked it down to $10. With the pay $10 for $20 giftcard I paid the remaining $10 with my gift card balance.

Just got $40 worth of stuff for free

I'm old enough that cloth was all there was (for Mom), so after several kids, there were lots of very soft dusting cloths. The pup is a Rottweiler. I think he gained 5 lbs today (at least, he looked it), as the ate cantaloupe, mixed fruit, a big rind of ham that the people didn't want, some left over potato salad, half a plate of baked beans and even some coleslaw. Didn't have to touch any of his puppy food (and then he begged potato skins from dinner after we got home -- for begging, he has to sit quietly and not fidget or he doesn't get anything). I'll try to get a pic to upload (we took some today, so should have something that came out well. He's 14 weeks old and already 35 lbs (he gains about 3-4 lbs a week, right now). He would love the diapers or the washcloths -- he thinks anything like that or a towel must be a toy, if it's left down low enough for him to reach it.

I thought I did pretty good getting two PS3 games for $15 after using the B1G1F and the coupon! Congrats.

Baby gates! I have zero interest in human babies, but baby gates are a necessity for the Shibas. And we need one! I'll have to check them out.

And hmm...what about the video one? Did other people see that offer, and I just missed mention of it? I got this offer: Get a $5 credit towards movies and TV shows at Amazon Instant Video

I haven't used it yet, and I normally wouldn't bother with movie or tv shows from amazon, but I could get a free movie to watch, so I probably will take advantage of it.
