![]() I'm pretty sure there was no liquid anywhere near the precious cover. However I never thought that might be the paint itself ![]() Hey Badger, have you made the decision?? |

Can some one suggest a sleeve/case for DX (based in UK)... I need it to bear the bumps and nudges in the bus & not for scaling sky scrapers or bungee jumping. Is it worth getting one of those films for the screen or is it a completely pointless utility ?
All within 20-30 GBP. Cheers! Last edited by rickomuer; 07-04-2011 at 04:26 AM. |

The best cover I found is the Incipio Kaddy Folio, it was already mentioned here a few times. Still waiting for it but I really like the simplicity and system of it. Seems the best way to secure the Kindle to the cover by far, no hinges or straps.
I posted today on the review of the cover but I thought I should post here too, to let you know that they now have 4 more color, those new colors come in a new material (synthetic leather) but the price is the same. The other 2 (in nylon) are still available. By the way, it seems that it's best to order from the original website because Amazon seems to have a backlog of 1 to 3 months to ship it, at least for me. In the product reviews one person said that ordering for incipio.com wouldn't have that problem. I love the red one ![]() ![]() |

From what people said it hard cardboard, not as sturdy as hardcover books but sturdy enough, and tends to be lighter than other covers. But I'll try to talk with Incipio to see if these new ones are heavier than the first two.
If you wen to the site already you have this thread here on MB with a review of it too ![]() The only issue you may have with it, is that for what people say supposedly you can't fold it completely flat. I think I can only say more when I have it on my hands. ----------------------------------------------------------------- BTW if anyone here has it, can you tell me if the Kindle has a skin on it if it still fits inside the cover? |

easy, just find something flat made of stiff pliable plastic (maybe a plastic trash can) and cut out a piece the same size as the kindle. then insert it in a soft pouch to protect the screen. that kind of material cuts well with a big pair of scissors or a paper cutter.

A normal thing? I'm more worried now. What if the dark spot appears elsewhere, like in the middle of the front, where it is easily seen?? What if it is much bigger? How come nobody mentioned this before ![]() |

I've never gotten a scratch on my Kindle(s) in 3 plus years of use and they've had rugged lives. the screen seems to deflect these issues short of anything but a gouge and the film wouldn't protect against that anyway |

This is the case I have. There's a lot of pockets in it which is nice. A little loose, but that's better than it being extremely tight.
![]() I'm going to take it to college with me so I can stick all my textbooks in it. That, and a moleskine, pens/pencils, and highlights. Will be pretty nice. |
