Well .... it's 107 F on the deck this afternoon. I think 109 is the highest I've ever seen ... stay tuned - might break a record this afternoon.

Edit: 108 F now.

Hot and getting hotter. 90F at 10AM and creeping up to 105F! Humidity is low (27 %) so at least it is dry heat.

It's my day off and I can't even sit on the patio to read! Too hot even in the shade.

It was a pretty humid day. We drove through some thundershowers on the way from our relative's house, but there wasn't much more than a sprinkle here at home.
