Just finished Pu-Erh aged...just? an hour ago. It was not even post dinner, but post vacuum cleaning cuppa.
Lost time while choosing a couple of swimming shorts for a summer holiday.
I prepare a cup of Lapacho and off to bed to read about Astras...err.. robots I mean. I normally don't read Sci-Fi but I think I needed a break from an epic Fantasy.

I wish it was true. But actually, empty is quite empty and light is quite light. The rest I leave it outside.

Oops. I forgot to quote Latinandgreek.

LOL Poppaea was the wife of Emperor Nero. He was her third husband, and her second husband would later be an Emperor as well, Otho, but she divorced him to take up with Nero. (Yes, they had divorce in the 50's. 50's AD, that is.) She was rather... ambitious.

Quite a time, her marriage to Nero. She spent a lot of time convincing him to kill people, including his mother. Finally, he supposedly killed her in a rather tragic manner - he kicked her in the stomach while she was pregnant. There is some disagreement as to the actual facts in the case, however. But no matter how, someone in that marriage was bound to get killed sooner or later anyway. The very picture of a dysfunctional relationship.

Oh, those crazy Romans...

The spotted cat wasn't tiger, astra. It was jaguar, or leopard, or cheetah.

Thanks for History lesson Nash. Nero and Pop Max are aliens to me. Well, that and with familiar names, I always mistake which belongs to which, Greek or Roman.

It's just 6:30 am here. I'm up early today. Big breakfast to make up the missing dinner last night, then go shopping then go search a house.

OK, remind me not to take two months off from the gym again. My arms are going to be sore tomorrow.

I have to bring in my Cuisinart water kettle to work now. They recently changed coffee systems to something that they know all the coffee drinkers are going to have. Not enough folks were chipping in for coffee on the honor system so they went from Flavia (chose your ow brew and expensive) to big urns of coffee. As I was walking out I saw five grown men trying to figure out how to make coffee. As part of the announcement they told folks that they cannot bring their own coffee makers to work and they will be confiscating the ones that they find.

I figure they are not going to listen to me argue that my hot water dispenser is a hot water dispenser and not a coffee pot. The Cuisinart kettle will work fine and can be hidden under my desk at night.

Double cappucino, as usual Waking up was really hard today *yawn*

Note to self: go to bed at a normal hour, even though you're dying to know what will happen next in the book you're currently reading.

Cuppa #4
Keemun

Despite the fact that I stayed late reading a book, I woke up at 05.15 Turned and tossed till 05.45 and gave up.
For quite a while I wanted to try to start a day with a cup of Wu Yi Rock oolong.
Done
Not bad. Not bad at all. I made a cup of Wu Yi Rock - Rou Gui
Spoiler:
90°C 12sec. + 4-5 dips of the trainer before removing it completely from the cup, so altogether probably 20 sec top

I liked it, but it is not as good as a good Assam as the first cuppa in the morning.

Do you like them? I've wanted to read them for a long time, but someone told me they are really complex.
