At least I don't have to be so anal as to comment on a post around 170 comments prior to your response... as I said then, I really hoped that you'd stop going on and on about this... did YOU read where I said I could care less... and for some people bottom posting is equally a pain... I am interested in a current post and only interested in a prior comment if I can't remember the context so I don't usually even read the quote, it's just a ref if needed...

What we really need is proper quoting where quotes get quoted. This is something that was disabled and needs to be enabled. Once we get proper quoting, then mutli-quote will be useful. For now, it's not useful. You have different messages you are replying to and someone wants to then reply, you get a bit of a mess when the quotes are missing. It doesn't work well.

Let's get Alex to enable proper quoting and I'll multi-quote more. OK?

Okay, and I'm being serious this time - this now-defunct proper quoting was obviously before my time so I'm not familiar with what you are referring to. Are you talking about nested quotes? Like:
