Pool party at my house! Somebody bring a blender!

This morning, we were looking down on the lake as the sun came up. There were bunches of bass in there, Tim estimates 18 inches or more. Big enough that I could see them from the 4th floor!!

I'm about to go to a hospital. First time to donate blood. So nervous. Does the process take long?

I've done it many times. No need to worry, the actual process is about 5 or 10 minutes, and you get a cup of tea and a biscuit afterwards

Good for you! Now consider putting it on your calendar to go back and do it again in 8 weeks. There just aren't that many routine donors. And remember the cookies!

people say different things! I remember reading somewhere that a 6-week period is enough, the volunteers today said I should wait 87 days

(why 87?) and now you say 8 weeks...

Oh, well, wait however long they tell you to wait. Here, the minimum time between donations is 8 weeks. I remember once showing up a day or two early thinking that they wouldn't care but they wouldn't let me donate. 87 days? That's an odd number.
