The tea that goes into the Tetly, PG Tips, Lipton, Celestial Seasons, ect is the tea that has not been deemed good enough for the people who sell loose leaf tea. It is tea but it is not the tea deemed to be the best or good enough by the rest of the tea market. The best way to understand the difference is take a tea leaf from loose leaf and see what happens when it is exposed to hot water. The tea leaf expands and grows and you can see the oils in the tea. You will not get that same effect with the mass produced tea bags. They are tea but there is much better tea out there. There is a world of difference in the taste and probably in the health benefits.

There is $2.99 Prosecco and there is 1979 Krug Clos de Mesnil. There is Johnnie Walker and 1963 Strathisla. They are all the same and then they are far from even being similar. |

Walker? Nah! Never. I am more of a Rum person anyway. I am quite sure those lazy Habaneros could walk on dry feet to Florida if they threw all the Havanna club bottles I've emptied in my life into the ocean If it has to be whisky I go for Chivas Regal normally. Havanna 7yrs old even for Cuba Libre, you can taste the difference through the Coke or Stolichnaya Vodka. Champagne either Bollinger or Roederer. But I rarely drink nowadays, only once or twice a year. It takes too long to recuperate at my age.

I am in a very non-sleep mode. I would say I am in a rather foul mood. My better??? half left today both doors to the porch and street unlocked when she was loitering in a garden with a netbook and I was upstairs listening to music. Then we were picked up by our friends for a few hours at their place at 18.30 and returned at 22.35. What did I find when we got back? The door from our sitting room to conservatory was unlocked and from the conservatory to our garden was wide opened. Just like that... I don't think that even a cup of Pu-Erh aged will be able to calm me down now. I think I aged for a few years when I figured out what happened.
