What are the search phrases you're using? Amazon is returning results correctly with: "martin" and "george martin" for me. EDIT: Disregard the above. I have two branches that I've gotten confused I'll work on it. Last edited by user_none; 06-12-2011 at 11:40 AM. |

I've figured out the Amazon issue. Some search terms are still using the old style listing. Amazon currently has three different ways to display search results...

Any chance you could add the 'library search' option for Overdrive? I'm envisioning a search using this form: http://search.overdrive.com/ Then the results page you'd just take any results that are epub, mobipocket, or pdf and also have a 'Find at a library' button. THEN once that library button is clicked, Get Books would automatically enter the user's zip code (you'd need to have a user preference setting created for this). And the output of THAT action is what would appear in Calibre. Is this too far out of the 'get books' scope? |

Geek alert! The best RPG eBookstore (that I know of): http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/ or http://www.rpgnow.com/ . AFAIK its the same backend for those 2 sites just a different front. I think they are most DRM-free. I know I have at least one DRMless RPG book from them. |

Hi, has anyone asked for Elib http://www.elib.se/ yet? It's THE store for e-books in Swedish.

I have no see elib.se. However, do realize that there are no developers (at least ones who have shown any interest in Get Books) that are even mildly competent in Swedish so you might be waiting a bit.

@user_none: Any luck on fixing the Amazon search? Running 0.8.8, and doing a search on author:"Walter Mosley" shows 5 books. But doing the same search on Amazon for Walter Mosley in the Kindle store returns a LOT more.
