You are right. The GPS and camping offers are back in my assets directory along with 2 more VISA $10 book offers. In fact the GPS offer is showing up as a current offer on my KSO.

Same here. Looks as though they are responding to some of the problems that were reported.

I do think the rep that sent me a written response was correct (vs one told over the phone) -- it looked like the typical cut/paste from their "answers to customer issues" emails, including that every customer should receive every offer, without qualification. However, that doesn't mean that some don't get skipped if they don't have wifi on at night (seems download batches typically are sent during slow times on their server or are triggered by a midnight job).

One interesting observation - my screensaver is changing itself at night, when new offer is triggered, as the one it went to bed on is different in the morning when I take it off the shelf

I don't think it makes any sense to argue about what Amazon says. Here are the facts.

1. Not every one gets all the offers.

2. If your WiFi is off, you get the offers later.

3. Sometimes an offer disappears and then come back.

4. Screen savers change when to Kindle is in sleep mode.

Your experience may vary.

Two more offers dumped in my .assets folder today; nothing new, just variations on old offers.

No, not your imagination. I have now had it happen twice. Both times new offers downloaded and became active at night and it had the new offer as a screensaver when I picked it up.

LOL! I think some of this is growing pains on Amazon's side (what, everyone wants EVERY offer? Really?). I swear that the current $10 offer did not originally say it was one per KSO (I even searched the offer page for the word "limit"); but, not it does say that (and it's line 6 in the rules, rather than 4, as it has been for all the other offers that had this "limit").

I'm wondering if those with 4 different pictures of the $10 visa book offer will get to take advantage of it 4 times, or just see a different picture each day of the same offer.

I did determine that if you sign up and then buy any book on "the list", your gift card balance is automatically ignored. I don't know, though, if the payment coming out of my "promotional balance" will count towards the $10 gc, though.

Well, for some of us, possibly, maybe, and we'll have to see, here is what's coming.

And, I have gotten so sick of my KOO (Kindle Oil of Olay) that I just deleted all the files with these screensavers. I expect that they will refresh but at least I will have some relief for a while. I'll report back if there are any adverse consequences.

Since I asked the question about whether I could take advantage of the 'buy $10 worth of qualifying ebooks and get a $10 Amazon gift card' even though I have a gift card balance, I just wanted to confirm (like others have done) that when I bought a book on the list, my credit card was charged. So hopefully that means it did count toward the gift card.

I'd also like to echo the warnings other people have mentioned about watching to make sure you're still in the 'Kindle with Special Offers Qualifying Ebooks' list. When I clicked on the 'here' link in the email they sent me, it takes me to a page that shows the 3919 books in the list BUT the 'search' bar at the top is for all Kindle ebooks, and I see 'Kindle Store -> Kindle with Special Offers Qualifying Ebooks -> Kindle Ebooks at the top of the list. If I click on 'Kindle with Special Offers Qualifying Ebooks' there, it takes me to the search area just for that list. I'm assuming that's not intentionally deceptive, but it is confusing.

Hmmm....now I don't see the book I bought listed....I wonder if I somehow DIDN'T get the offer....I was just moving through the "next" thing, but I didn't look up at the top to see that, and now I don't see my book listed....

Just an update, after removing the Oil of Olay ads, they have not come back. Today I took out Buick and Cover Girl. In place of the Buick, my Kindle is displaying a Dead Author and as I cycle through I get a different one each time. After a few cycles it stopped and went to offers only.

Interesting.

And is anyone surprised that almost all the Amazon Skins in the promo offer are 1 cent below $20 so you have to buy two to get the $15 off?

I read it as one offer not one skin. One skin would make no sense as it would make anything under $20 not part of the offer.

You are right on the ones above $20, I should have checked more thoroughly. I was just annoyed at all the skins just 1 cent too low and the fact that they left out hundreds of the skins I prefer that are from Invisibledefenders and many others that are selling closer to $11. Actually, they don't even seem to recognize that these items are Kindle accessories. I won't even get into how the $24.99 skins came in just under the free shipping cut off. All in all, this offer just won't do me any good.
