Everybodies mushroom
I spent a lot of time in Atlanta, GA and my favorite is the sour dough thick crust large Everybodies mushroom pizza (with extra sauce and mushrooms).
Lot's of sauce, cheese and fresh mushrooms!

No chain pizza - ever! Cack!

A local shop makes a thin crust white pizza (butter garlic sauce) with bacon, onion and tomato.

I make a deep dish with hot sausage, mushrooms, green pepper and onion that is fantastic. I've had friends show up on a Saturday morning with the fixings and instructions that they'll be over later with beer and dvd's.

I had a thin crust pizza that was cracker-thin with scallpos and bacon to top it at the Salem, MA edition of a Boston-area pizza chain when I was there visiting a cousin. It was pretty amazing.

The Pizza Man in Covington, LA does a pretty awesome crabmeat and artichoke heart pizza on thinnish crust. I like thin crust and will eat just about anything on top of a pizza.

The best pizza I found was a marinaria made by a Italian guy back in Mexico City. Besides that, my favorite topping was chicken and Canadian bacon, but I have not found this outside Mexico City.

These days (being 2,000 kilometers away) I settle with a home made pizza with ham and mushrooms.
