I've got a few hours before it's evening here, and I worry that the overcast skies will linger, obcsuring the latest sunrise of the year. It's also my 13th Nashiversary today. Me and all my stuff pulled into Nashville with one of my dearest friends on the Summer Solstice 1998 at 11:00 PM. I should go out and celebrate, but I think I'll wait and go out on Sunday instead. In my cup: Nothing, but soon to be ice cold Dr. Pepper. |

The start of a Loooong day today. Needs the strength of Taylors of Harrogate's "Yorkshire Tea!" Maybe even three cups to give me a good start. See? There's the problem. Even Munchkins require more than a cup of Cheerios. The advertisements say it's "part of a healthy breakfast." The fine print says that 'healthy breakfast' has enough food to almost fill a gymnasium. Eggs, some sort of meat, veggie, i.e. grits or home fries, toast, fruit, etc., etc., etc. How odd... I noticed that too! Longest evening? I thought today was the longest day? Do I have things turned around again? It's a shame that women can't 'rent' nice clothes, the same way men can rent a tuxedo. Think how much husbands could save over the course of a few years. "Honey, I just don't have a THING to wear!" (Which I always thought was a good thing, but my wife doesn't.) OK... time for the next mug of Yorkshire tea. Extra strong today... Stitchawl |

Of course women can rent nice clothes now, although I don't know anyone who actually has. This is just one of many... http://www.weartodaygonetomorrow.com/ | |

A glass of water and off to bed. I've been in stiletto heels for the past two days, my baby toe feels like it should be in traction. |

No. Actually it does not work like that, dear far away friend. They can do everything. And they do. Good morning to everybody. Here birds start to sing at 4:58. It is officially summer. Over cast, possibility of rain. Very good mood. Busy day ahead. |
