Apologies in advance for this question - it's probably something absolutely obvious, but I've spent 1,5+ hours trying to find the answer.
I've just created my first custom news recipe in Calibre and it works like a charm, but I cannot find a way to modify a user-defined column on the resulting books. Any tips would be much appreciated. |

If you are trying to get a recipe to enter something into a custom column, you can't. You can't even put something into the tags, and that's not a custom column. Having said that, someone will undoubtedly find a way to do it, but it's not trivial or obvious.
