oh sorry, my mistake. i was thinking of the automated recommendations based on the result of the analysis (genome), and comparing genomes between themselves ; i forgot about the preceding human intervention

Where I worked everyone pronounced GUI as gooey so that is how I've always said it. I think it sounds better than G-U-I.

I've got into Pandora by changing my proxy but it's a bit of a hassle (damn copyright laws).

Sounds better, perhaps, but it's definitely easier to say.

Nothing special really. We've got a service like that here in Poland for over 7 years - it's BiblioNETka

EDIT: Or wait, what do they mean by the 'computerised' matching? How do they achieve this? By percentage of words/phrases matched?

I tried it a bit, but I still much prefer Literature Map (http://www.literature-map.com/) (which is is a part of gnooks, which is a
part of gnod, which is a project of marek gibney)

I use it sometimes when I want to find new authors, and its "cloudy" interface is the right thing for me.

Watch the movie that is on the site. It explains everything. Remember this is a concept site. It is an idea looking for funding, not a site that is usable today.
