Got my dad two Moleskines and two pens for Father's Day. He saw them at B&N last month and told me he really wanted one.
He was pleased. |

She might mean something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Confidence-Fit...8520786&sr=8-1
if she doesn't want to walk outside when it's raining. |

For walking and working I wear MBT shoes, the best 250 euros I've ever spend! Another problem is where to put the thing. I was thinking the basement but according to my father it's too damp. He suggested to attic. I have to check it out tomorrow, I know for sure that I need to install better light when I get one. I also thought of a new project to do this summer. Over a year ago I saw a wooden desk lamp in a store and I really loved it, but not the shade and the price. Considering the simplicity of the design I'm thinking of making one myself, with some alterations. The most important thing is the shade, not only doesn't it reflect a lot of light it's also too small, I suspect, for the longer energy saving light bulbs and LED lamp. I'm thinking of either using some sort of (kitchen) bowl or buy a cheap lamp and use that shade. I'm tempted to go with the first option, if I can find the right bowl. |

Just got done mowing the lawn! Now for some R&R with cats & Kindle. Today was their monthly flea treatment - always makes them a little sluggish afterwards.

Just got back from a family cookout. Flank steak and corn on the grill, along with mashed potatoes and greek salad. Key lime pie for dessert. I am too full...

Trying to wrap my head around a three week break from school. Just finished and turned in two finals and two weekly assignments. No idea how I did on the finals but probably not as well as I should have, because I just wanted them OVER with.
Trying to decide if Fiestaware (dishes) is worth the investment (they're highly collectible and will have considerable resale value later), or whether to go with the cheap knock offs from Walmart (that I won't cry if I break). Fighting to stay awake. I think my body finally got the message that not only are finals done, but Melora and the baby are back home and there's no reason I can't sleep for umpteen hours in a row now... |
