Cover Cases, screen protectors etc
Hey all I just bought a cover for my KT at the chapters store in St. Catherines. Was wondering if any one else had any complaints about the placement of the elastics? Particularly around the slide button. On my case the buton is hidden partially by the elastic and I find it interferes with the operation of said button. Is this a common issue and something I will hav to live with? Or is this bad prodcution control? For now I have decided to not use the Strap for the top right corner.

Hey all found a touch screen cover from Walmart (in fort Erie) its the purtek brand.. its a universal fit 6" screen fits almost perfectly. A little too short on the long edge by maybe 1/8 of and inch give or take and a couple mm on the side, is is a glossy finish acutally seems to help polorize the text making it appear bolder and stronger in appearance. It also pics up fingerprints lol. I am going to look for a matte finish one.. I think the matte finish would reduce the glare from some light sources over the glossy one...
at any rate its been fun learning experiance regards jack Last edited by jackastor; 06-18-2011 at 04:03 PM. |

I got the official cover too with the elastics the day before. Yeah, there are problems with getting to the power button. You can't have dry skin on your fingers to use it anywhere near 1/2 comfortably since it covers up the edge of the button and you have to rely on the grip between your skin and the button to slide it. I've thought of using a velcro 3m adhesive on the right corner.

Actually got it in the fort erie store.. lol but it should be in all their stores.
you get two screens and a little tiny micro fiber screen cloth for the screen protector that is... the cover itself like a book one at the Chapters at the mall next door to costco Last edited by jackastor; 06-18-2011 at 04:02 PM. |
