Yes good loose leaf is expensive but it tastes sooo good. Keep in mind that when I pay $25 for 2 ounces of a loose tea, I am going to get 25-50 cups of tea from those 2 ounces. So my tea works out to $1 a cup or $0.50 a cup. That is not so bad. The bill looks horrific but it lasts forever. So my last $150 order is going to last me 3-4 months. That is about the same amount of money, maybe less, then my Hubby will spend on diet coke and a whole lot less then our booze bill. (winks) How many Red Bulls does $150 get you? How many cups of coffee at Starbucks? The regular and the fancy? I get 4-6 pots (8- 12 12 ounce mugs) of tea a day for 4 months off my $150. Pot One Rooibos Cream Caramel. Lemonade. My caffeine withdrawal headache is going to kick in shortly and I'll switch to tea then. But I needed something fast and mixing lemon juice and sugar is faster than waiting on my tea maker LOL.

That's what my brother (doctor) told me and suggested to drink gin instead (I bet Stitchawl has got a big grin on his face when he is reading it ) Yup. The more different teas I drink, the more I realise it. Also, I hope one day I will learn to enjoy re-infused teas. As promised I quote from emails some bits of wisdom by the lady from The Chinese Tea Company: First of all oaf's email, then her patient reply: Quote:

did he mean that he paid close to 5 dollares or that he carries 1.5 kilos of the stuff? you know, wrapped up tight in a newspaper could be effective as a home made weapon of sort ... like a roll of quarters in a sock. Last edited by beppe; 06-16-2011 at 02:21 PM. |

Hmmm, I do have some Amaretto in one of my counters. Maybe I'll make myself an Amaretto sunrise crush in a minute. Right now there's tea in my cup. Tomorrow I have to interview a bunch a people on the street, so I'm practicing a bit I hope it doesn't rain ... | ||
