"Cranberry" tea. I just played with my first Kindle. I really, really like the fonts that it uses, but I wasn't crazy about the user interface. Quite nice, though, all in all; I'd still consider getting a Kindle DX; I will probably wait for the next generation, though.

I miss coffee. And you say "coffee" all the time. You turn me into a green-eyed monster.

It is. However, I might drink it for....3 months or longer.
I don't drink quality tea by buckets, unfortunately. Horrible water in the office and to be honest, the mood is not the right one. So, weekends and a couple of cups every weekday evening. Yes, it is expensive. The top price I am prepared to pay is £20/100gr. It is not even the middle of the range of good teas ![]() £30 - is fairly standard for a good tea but 50, 100 and more are there too ![]() Gotta run to a meeting, sorry. |

Coffee in my cup. I missed my Keurig coffee maker while I was gone. I should have taken it with me.

Meeting has been postponed till 12.15
![]() Lots of water and now cuppa #3 Ahmad Hampton Breakfast. Didn't drink this tea for a week or so. Btw., re: expensive tea. One year ago I used to finish a good bottle of single malt, £40-60 in 4-6 months. It lasts for one! year now ![]() On the other hand. 2 years ago I didn't drink whisky... ![]() Ah, but I did drink some wine and liquor, such as Amaretto I concede that tea might be very expensive. I have told the owner of The Chinese Tea Company that I won't be able to afford anything above £20. I didn't want her to spend time on me in hopes that she can get a lucrative customer then to be disappointed for wasted time. She dismissed my worries, though ![]() Some of their more expensive teas, that I would love to try (maybe next lifetime ![]() Phoenix Dan Cong Osmanthus 21.00 – 50grams Jiu Jiu Jiu Tie Guan Yin Grade A £28.00 – 80grams Dian Hong Golden Buds £18.60 – 50grams Lapsang Souchong Tong Mu £16.70 – 40grams [I have been thinking of trying Lapsang Souchong in the office. It has such a powerful flavour, it might overpower bad water and it is a bit cheaper £2.95] Keemun £15.20 – 50grams Shi Feng Long Jing (Dragon Well Tea) £28.00 – 50g (about 6 times more expensive than the one I got from NBTea £9.65 and thought it was good) An Ji Bai Cha £17.00 – 50grams Expensive? Look at the prices here: Imperial Teas of Lincoln and my favourite price £4... etc. etc.2 The prices are probably geared towards New Russians mob. Supreme Iron Buddha Oolong Tea Set 2 x 10g samples (34 cups)* £30.00 ![]() |

Yes it is. Nominally. But much less expensive than any bottled drinks.
Of course, if you get into the vicious circle of those two or three maniacs (including Poppaea) and run after absolute perfection, through mail orders ... But there is an ab missal difference between an excellent tea and an ordinary one. Myself I am lucky to buy my tea in a little shop run by a very competent little wrinkled lady that shows me enough benevolence to advise me. She lets me sample the dry tea, so that I can make a choice. Some time I ask my self why I go to the trouble of brewing it and I just don't chew the pellets raw. I got from her this Oolong that costs 45 tallers for 50 grams and that is just a marvel to drink. Anyhow, it is just money ... |

![]() P.S. One of the reasons that TWA folded is that they used to serve Amaretto with orange juice. Of all things. |
