Down the rabbit hole - CM7 has my vote
Hard to believe but trust me the specific SD card does make all the difference. Picked up the Sandisk 8GB Class 4 and CM7 on the SD booted no problem at all.
Thanks to all for the tips on this forum! Ok, now my basic (I suppose) CM7 questions from my initial journey 1) How do you get different wall papers on your 5 different panels? I went ahead and bought ADW EX but so far I can only get one wall paper up that is repeated on each panel. Downloaded HD wallpapers and multipicture live but couldn't figure this out. Any other wallpaper suggestions? 2) So somebody had a cool calendar kinda of over-layed on their main screen. How do you do that. Thanks, Jon |

*sigh* I'm currently running CM7 off a Kingston 4GB that I was using for my phone and it's unbearably slow. Trying to decide if I should go with 2x16GB or 1x32GB (Sandisk, of course). I'm using it for manga so I definitely need the storage capacity.

As long as you don't install CWM to the eMMC recovery partition, you can still go back to stock by interrupting boot-up 8 times. |

That said, I only have a $25 gift card from Amazon so I just bought a 16GB card for now. I'll see if I can make do with a smaller card. Even with only 14GiB usable space, that's still over 150 volumes worth. |

You could also use an app like File Expert to download files from your PC in the background while you go about your business on the NC.

Thanks for the suggestion. Will definitely look into that. I think the programmer of ComicGlass (my favorite manga reader on iOS) is planning on porting his application to Android. ComicGlass already has this functionality built-in, sort of. Until it gets ported, though, I'd have to make do with Perfect Viewer and either copy files via USB or use File Expert as you suggested.
