Menu -> Settings -> Menu -> Reset to Factory Defaults

You can also deregister the device while in Settings.

did you try squeezing it together? I carry mine in my coat pocket & the case opens up (often much worse than that) once or twice a week.

NO! That's a sleeve. It's not a case. It won't help at all if the Kindle is not in the sleeve when it's dropped. Waste of money too as it won't fit a Kindle with a case. So if you actually want some protection when you are using the Kindle, a sleeve isn't it. I just don't get why so many people feel a sleeve is OK when it's really not.

fyi, I dropped my Kindle (about 5 feet maybe) two times with Kindle inside and nothing happened! Great protection! It has a lot of cushion inside, bubbles, which helps absorbing the energy while falling! I actually believe is better than other cases without this same design which are more expensive too.
