SD card file structure
I'm considering getting a Nook Touch, but am planning on trying it out in-store with a SD card of sideloaded material to see how it handles that (since that'll be the bulk of my books) before purchasing.
Since I obviously won't be able to have the Nook figure out where stuff should live on the card, can anybody tell me what file structure books should be in on the card for them to show up in Library -> Books? I looked at the user guide, but it wasn't terribly helpful. |

<SD root>/My Files/Books You can place your files directly in "Books", or create folders to organize the books. Calibre will place the files in the right folder, if you're using it. |

![]() I've been getting alone with my PDA, and more recently an iPod touch, for my books. (First Microsoft Reader, then Stanza, then Bluefire.) But the screen can get a bit cramped for books like Random House that do a good job of replicating the print layout, and I liked the hyphenation and better library organization available on the nook touch. There's a little bit of ghosting, but they finally got the page turn speeds up to what I consider acceptable, so I'm willing to put up with them. I just need to figure out why it likes some covers and not others, even though they're fine in ADE! |
