Greetings from Sweden
Hello people!

I've been reading this site & forum for a couple of years to get the latest news regarding e-readers.
However, I got my prs-505 yesterday (with some difficulty as they're not sold here) so it is was time to register!
Actually the main reason for getting one was to hack it to suit my needs, but we'll see If I'll just be too busy reading books.

Hello cassidym!
Well, I'm confident that ebooks -would- be very popular in Sweden if e-ink devices would be on the market (here), but that is unfortunately not the case.
Even the libraries here lend out ebooks - however I don't think many people use them because there's not any proper devices to use them on.
However, Swedes are generally very environmentally friendly so I hope it will be a huge thing here in the near future.

Yeah, the most interesting study on the environmental impact of e-books came from Sweden.

I don't think I've heard of any bigger such studies from here regarding e-books specifically myself, but obviously one often hear discussions of the amazing amount of paper that is wasted daily.

I know how to spend my Sunday. Content-filling!
