Heh, I'm that way with my Kindle now. I feel lost when I don't have it with me :P What I like about having an e-reader is the ability to switch reading materials without carrying more physical bulk. Get tired of the novel, switch to news feeds, then switch to short stories, then switch back to the novel.

If for some reason I forget to put my Sony in my pocketbook (that's the one I tend to carry around with me) - even if I know that I'm absolutely not going to have any time to read anything on it while I"m out - I feel a vague unease, sort of as if I had left an arm behind. |

lol, I never leave without my ereader *and* my phone (with the kindle app). The idea of being without a potential book to read is paralyzing! When I do go out, I don't always get the chance to read anything (work or other events get in the way). BUt having it with me is like a security blanket I'm only counting ebooks, not pbooks- so I'm not including children's books that I'm reading to my kids. I'm up to 61 right now, so I should be in decent shape.... |

cool, i didn't know there was a goodreads page you set up as well. i'll join it but i really hadn't read a lot before the kobo but now since i have it that's all i want to do. my goal is 50 by the end of the year and only books that i have read on the kobo i'm counting. so i'll hop on and see what everyone else is reading and see if anything else catches my eye. thanks. |
