Many things have been discussed ad nauseum in the past. Perhaps most things ebook related. Many rebukes have also been posted in the past along the same lines. Myself I do not take offense if someone wants to start a new thead on an old topic as I find that topics with more than five pages get a bit unwieldly. The time a new user would have to spend viewing and correlating all posts relating to many topics would be prohibitive. Many people need to post to feel part of a community and not everyone has something original to say. Some mobileread subforums actively discourage replying to older threads so a new user could be confused. Probably I am mistaken, but I believe that General discussions was for generally discussing things whether repetitive or not. And correcting people on their terminology when their meaning is pretty plain seems a tad persnickety. Helen |

Really Both Indented with 1em space or Non-indented with 1.35em space (my balance between using lots of screen or indented paragraphs). |

both. Not sure how to change line spacing between paragraphs to half a line, though.

It's the same for me. I like the physical separation. | |

I prefer indents over extra white space, and if I reformat a book, that's what I do. But I'm starting to feel that indents and a little bit of space between paragraphs looks even better, so maybe I should learn how to do that. |

Ye for me I think both too, but paragraph more important I think. I don't like big wall of text but if a particular book it's like that I just read it like that. But for scene changing you can use (and I think it's even better) this: Quote:

It shouldn't be a tab, but an aspect of the paragraph formatting (that makes converting from one to the other easier). For most works, a paragraph indent for normal paragraphs is better, but there are works where vertical space is more suitable. William |

I prefer tabs, but either one is okay. Once I'm reading something, whether it's tabs or space between paragraphs, I get used to it pretty quickly, and don't notice it.
