In your applications there is an app called Froyo Email. That is that native Gmail. Also I ran the maps from the google web site and it worked for me.

It is possible to install Google maps; and it runs pretty smoothly with the last update. We have no GPS or network, so location is manual - but it works.
As for Froyo mail - permissions say it can add or modify calendar events, and read/write contact data so maybe soon. |

I can't find an app called Froyo Email. Where is it? Is there any way to sync google contacts?
Thanks for all |

"Froyo Email" should be in your app list. You did do the Ermine update, right? And you now see a big green Unlock button when you boot up your eDGe?

Not all of us have Android phones and can't access files like Google maps. (Did you get that from Android Marketplace?) If there are a few major apk's like that which eDGe users could share with each other. What if we set up a thread for members to interact who are looking for certain files and other members who had access to those APK's could put them on speedyshare and allow other members to download them? Though I suppose there is the possibility of that not being an acceptable way of transferring APK files. |
