Welcome, Zem, or is it nice to see you again?

All I ask is some notice if these boards are going to be turned off so we can collect the info and friends we need. Thanks!
I think Snow should have made you "Madam Viceroy of the Realm of the eDGe," instead of "Tablet Wench!"

In which case, I think I would like to be a "Diplomat of the Jedi Order."

Interesting. some of what we are seeing could make sense if there is a change of control or a major overhaul in product design and supply chain management.......but that would be muy expensive. Guess there is room for hope?

Now I understand your mood guys, and your appreciation for Snow's work.

My EE is currently traveling across the sea, and before I can hold it in my hands (it'll arrive on April 8th), I come to know it's a dead device. Which needed a further developement to fix some troubles.

Feels bad, and I have no kind words for this.

Please would you link me a store where I could buy spare battery and styluses?

So you are just kicking snow out, but enTourage keeps going on? You will find me rude but it's the kindest thing I can write now.

This lne is a little troubling:
Quote:
Thanks to all you guys, today is my last day.
As if our machinations got him fired
The Snowy guy or gal we all admired -
Perhaps a kind of klutz conspirator
Emeshed him like a clumsy metaphor.
And lurking back of that, one thing more stealthy:
But for lack of buyers, Entourage would still be healthy!

My contribution to the Bad Poetry Contest.

I humbly apply for the title of Reptile In Residence.

In the vein of Eats, Shoot and Leaves, me thinks that sentence is poorly punctuated. Perhaps Snow meant "Thanks, to all you guys; today is my last day."

That's how I read it. Of course, I edited high school papers for almost 20 years, so I've learned to see punctuation that isn't there.

I'm correcting someone else's punctuation as we e-speak. I copy edit menus in restaurants, roadsigns, flyers, ads; can't help myself.

Drugs, huh? No wonder it took you almost 20 years to get out of high school. I admire your fortitude.

lorenzoens, I am fairly new here myself and can sympathize with what your feeling, but if Zem is "winking in italics" ;-) it is probably not something to be taken lightly. If you click on your Forum tab at the top of the page and then on Quick Links and then on "view site leaders," you'll note that he's a seasoned veteran. So, I'm in the same boat as you are -- and while I had the opportunity to return my eDGe to my distributor in exchange for something else, I'm willing to see what Zem has in mind.

Stylus is easy: any Penabled one should work. This is the one I have, and it's more comforable than the little nose-picker that's stuck in the Edge:

Battery is also easy if you get something like an xpal and use that externally (I can look up the exact number of the tip that fits, if you want, but not right now without waking my roommate). Internal may have to come from eNTouRage.

Comprehensive list?

I'm in Baltimore... maybe I'll have to check it out!
