I am totally supposed to be planning a session on learning styles for Christian homeschoolers, and you all are NOT helping!

I guess I can't have one of the learning styles be "drunk", can I?

No kidding. This is, strangely enough, what I do.

I was asking if you were seriously attempting to plan a session on learning styles for CHRISTIAN youth while intoxicated? LMAO!

Well, since I'm presenting on Saturday, I don't have much choice now, do I? =P

(and it's strange because I'm not Christian, though this group keeps asking me back year after year for their conference, so they seem to have come to terms with it.)

That is so funny... I do a lot of technical work with Alt edu. and homeschooler's and the Christian groups are my biggest supporters even though i do not see eye to eye with some of their views.

Educational choice makes strange for bedfellows. I started in Alt-Ed/private ed. and moved to hs'ers because we shared a specific, common goal which I feel like I achieved. The other thing I *should* be working on is the website that I'll formally announce Saturday, which goes back to my more mainstream roots and is geared to a general student audience, but subtly implies that anyone can "take control" of their own high school education and still get into university.

It can be strange to work so hard for so long (10 years for me!) on a cause, and every now and then see something ideologically extreme that makes you say, "Um, I'm enabling THAT?" But such is the life of someone dedicated to liberty.
