Bluetooth Code

Hi,
I tried to use Bluetooth File Transfer to stream filed from another android device and I got a request for a 4 digit code to recognice my device. Does the PE have a BT code like I needed for my headset?

Try 0000 and 1234 as these are often the defaults. Sometimes the accepting device will popup a message indicating the code to give to the requesting device.

Thanks Boris,
I tried that yesterday, both codes.
I fear the problem lies not within the code but in the device.
The Archos is just not built for BT streaming access per their programmers.

Have you ever tried conencting another android device tot eh PE by USB cable and were you able to mount it as a hard drive?

I think only PCs and Macs are able to make that type of USB connection.
