Pocket Edge?

Has anyone noticed the reference to the "Pocket Edge" in the new manual ?http://www.entourageedge.com/support...uide_0823.epub
I wanted to see what new features would be available and was browsing through it, page 7.
I also found reference to a pocket device here http://www.phonearena.com/htmls/Veri...e-a_12807.html

I am definitely a bit intrigued, hope it not locked to a network like so many cool devices are.

Sounds like a smaller device that comes with with Verizon connectivity.

Dunno if it is a single or dual screen device. I'd hope it is dual-screen. Not sure what entourage would gain with yet another single-screen Android phone.

Could you re-post the link to that epub? It's shortened in my browser and leads to nowhere on the site.

All I can find is the user guide from May??? Could you post the link for me, please? The one above takes me to the Entourage home screen.

I am sure I replied to this post, but somehow is the post has disappeared.

In that post, I had mentioned that some of the screen-shots/diagrams in the epub user guide (August version) shows 3G bars on the top right corner (see for eg page 52). May be it means a newer model with 3G?

Still puzzled at how my previous post disappeared...

On second thought, the 3G bar probably comes from the emulator...

with the words pocket edge and the results page pops up 2 hits, one has a description.

Hmm... very curious. Filed on the 23rd of May, long after the original eDGe was released. I definitely do think that these are for a new device, as size and weight was the reviewers' main complaint with the eDGe. Very interesting...

One more thing of note with the images in the new documentation: they have a different screen ratio than the current eDGe, along with the 3G bar showing... but again, this could be all because of an emulator.

That pocket edge TM there is the TM being refered to. The documentation can be found at this link.
