uninstalling aps

Hi all,

dumb question maybe: how to UN install an ap?

Settings>Applications>Manage Applications

Click on the app that you want to uninstall
Select "Uninstall"

Note: the apps that the eDGe comes with cannot be uninstalled.

2nd way, much better

use ES Explorer
choose Appl Icon second button on the right

Press and hold app. select uninstall

The apps that come with it can be uninstalled: if you have root access, you just need to delete the appropriate apk /system/applications (not sure of the exact directory offhand). I removed the games, so I'd have fewer distractions.

Boris- you're right, and I only did it this way because these apps (1) don't provide an undelete method, and (2) probably don't have extra dependencies that would cause problems later. I wouldn't recommend it in general.

LOL. Which is why MSFT now makes those folders hidden by default.
