Android new google maps 4.3 for android

Will this work on edge.

it says shud work on android 1.6 or above.

Is edge 1.5 or 1.6??

4.1 and 4.2 work (can be obtained from http://www.androidfreeware.org/downl...gle-maps-4.2.0). Eh, they're a little on the sluggish size, but they function at least. Do not click "location" or try any GPS feature, it will potentially go bonkers.
4.3 I am not sure yet because far as I know it is not available outside the Google Market.
