Are you sure this is not a UNIX server? UNIX gets constantly mistaken for DOS by Windows users. If you connect via SSH to this server, you can use ConnectBot for Android. OpenSSH servers also run on Windows server to provide a remote DOS prompt over the SSH protocol, this may also be what your school has done. You can also connect to a Windows server via Remote Desktop by using an RDP client for Android. Flash may also work via RDP, I have not used RDP for this purpose, but for slides it should be fine. Remember, Powerpoint is on the eDGe, so you can view those files as well. Perhaps your instructor has a copy of the slides in PPT format, and just exported it to a Flash file for easier access by students.
