I can report for sure that eDGe does not currently see ad hoc networks. It should be a top feature request...

If the plumbing is there for usb tethering does that mean we have to wait for the sdk for someone to figure it out?

From the movie, Ferris Bueller's Day Off when Ben Stein's character kept repeating the students name, "Bueller? ...Bueller? ...Bueller?" (when attempting to take roll call in class) which became analogous to "Anyone? Anyone?" when probing for answers.
