Tie Guan Yin.

About 6 or 7 years ago in London China town I bought a huge tin.

Tried it a few times and gave up.
It is an experiment. It is now very old, so I either have to throw it away or try it in the office. It works. I like its taste. It triumphs over unfiltered water! Now I have tons of Tie Guan Yin for drinking in the office I will probably bring the whole box tomorrow. As a side effect it will free some space in the utility room cupboard

Ti Kuan Yin (in any of its spellings) was always considered the Queen of Oolong teas! It's also sold as "Iron Goddess of Mercy" tea. If you remember the photo of the huge statue I posted after my bike ride down to southern Japan some time ago, that was a statue of Kuan Yin, or as she's called in Japanese, Kannon, the Goddess of Mercy.

But tonight I'm looking towards Bacchus rather than Buddha with a glass of tequila for an evening drink!

I typed as you say, because that is what is written on the tea package, then googled it and the very first link was Tieguanyin, so I assumed I was wrong

Apparently, I have drunk The Taiwan Mucha Iron Goddess Tea only

This traditional oolong is roasted and has a stronger taste and with roast nutty character, the tea liquid is reddish-brown

and haven't tried The Chinese Anxi Iron Goddess Tea

This oolong is typically close to a green tea, with only a little oxidation. With a very flowery and fresh delicate aroma character, the tea liquid is golden yellow

unless Bao Zhong falls into this category.

Or maybe I got confused with all the names and am lost
