seems like irex have almost everyones iLiad
mine is back has gone back for repair (already v2, so no battery) ... im also getting withdrawl symptoms

Hmm... Let's hope I get mine back soon with the upgraded panel.

Did they send you a notification when they were done and shipped it back? I want to be sure that they didn't ship it to the wrong address...

I got mine back really quickly but I forgot to add the invoice for the voucher and am not at all sure they replaced the back. Is there a picture anywhere of the new back? I mean, how different is it from the old one?
I got a tracking number for the box and for when it was sent to Germany but not for the return. Got back iLiad, accessories but no invoice, description or anything.
Good luck to all those waiting for their iLiads (or their boxes)

Unfortunately not. I've sent an email....just waiting on the response.

I'd really like it if they just sent it directly to me. Going without my iLiad for another week wouldn't be fun.

Many thanks for the link. I've clearly still got the old backplane.
Yes I ordered the new one, bought a voucher but had so much trouble locating my original invoice (which was anyhow wrong) I forgot to include the voucher invoice. There was a packing slip but it basically just said 1 iLiad. I'll get in touch with Irex though the tech people have administrative problems (they assigned me two battery-replacement numbers and 3 emails haven't helped).

Well, it seems iRex customer service is still not quite there yet then...my battery replacement went smooth and fast enough, so I though they finally got their act together, but apparently there are still enough problems to go 'round...

Shipped mine back today for battery replacement only, I hope it's quick as I'm having to use a paper pad to take meeting notes, which will mess up my filling a little ... Also I'm stuck with the single paperback when I travel now ... fingers crossed it'll be back within soon ...

Got mine back, but not the v2 version but my original one. Wouldn't be that bad, if I did not pay 50 Euro for the upgrade. Actually I am not that surprised that something like that happened.

I've talked to someone at iRex. This is currently being looked into, and an official statement can be expected soon.
