Okay guys, I need help! I've been drinking coffee nearly every morning on the train, which is becoming a really expensive habit. So I decided it's time to buy a decent travel mug. I have one of those Brugo mugs, but it doesn't keep my coffee warm for very long, and it usually spills any leftover in my bag
![]() So I need something spill-free, that I can put in my back while I'm cycling to the station without worry. Does anyone here have a recommendation? |

Make sure you pick up something double walled. That will help the coffee stay warm. I use a double walled thermos that I bought at REI for backpacking. I actually need to carry a seperate cup for drinking my tea because the water stays really warm in the thermos.
2 pots of Lapsang Sourchong. Finishing a pot of Japan Sencha extra fine. |

Bi Lo Chun [Also known as Jade Spiral or Snail Spring] The last cup of NBTea's sample. It looks quite different from Tea House Emporium's Pi Lo Chun "Green Snail Spring". Also it doesn't taste as good. Quote:

I received today a newsletter from New Mexico Tea Company where I have ordered strainer.
Maybe somebody who likes iced tea might find the following info useful, I don't know anything about it, so ... Quote:

![]() Got to sit down, take a rest on the porch. Imagination sets in, pretty soon I'm singing, Doo, doo, doo, Looking out my back door. There's a giant doing cartwheels, A statue wearing high heels. Look at all the happy creatures dancing on the lawn. A dinosaur Victrola listening to Buck Owens. Doo, doo, doo, Looking out my back door. ![]() ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqZhM75aGMg ) Still raining so I'm still sitting looking out my back door too... well, actually I'm looking out over the veranda because we only have one door and it's in the front. But that looks over a bamboo forest so it's kinda pretty too so sometimes it gets difficult trying to decide if I should look out the front or look out the back... Decisions, decisions, decisions. Easy to decide about tea though. Black and hot. Today is China Black to go with my breakfast. Quote:

The Yunnan China Black that I get from McNultey's Tea and Coffee in NYC really is one of the all time great black teas. It's been a regular of mine for many, many years. I'm beginning to wonder if their China Keemun might just be the same as the unbranded stuff I've been getting at the Chinese Import shop. I think the next time I order from McNultey's I'll include a bag of their Keemun. I've had it before and remember enjoying it, but it's been many years since... Certainly worth a try! Stitchawl |

![]() ![]() I've been searching for travel mugs on the interwebs, and eventually found this one: ![]() It's a porcelain travel mug with a dubble wall and a silicone cover. I've never had a porcelain travel mug before, maybe it will be better than all the metalic ones I've bought and then discarded because they were no good at all. This one got some good reviews. And it's also unbelievably 'funky' ![]() In my cup: Japanese cherry after breakfast. |

![]() I've decided to use up all the teabags in my cupboard before buying more tea. So I've just made a pot of Strawberry tea. It should last me the rest of the day. |
