How to download public domain from kobobooks

I got a free public domain book at kobobooks and it shows in My Library, but there is no option to download it. I am able to download books which I have purchased but not this one. Are they expecting me to read it online or what?

Online or synced to a Kobo.

This book is probably only available as a kepub, not ePub, and therefore you can only read it on a Kobo device, app, or the Kobo desktop. Most books are available in both formats

None of the public domain books I've seen have been in anything other than Kepub. Only the purchased ones.

Most of the public domain books on the Kobo site are available as "true" e-pubs at www.gutenberg.org

Thanks everyone. The solution was to go get the book elsewhere—at manybooks.net. I did download a couple of others from mobilread as well and none of those were a problem to get onto my Kobo.
