![]() Rest assured this troubadour is acting on His part. The union of your spirits, here, has caused Him to remain For whenever two or more of you are gathered in His name There is Love, there is Love. Well a man shall leave his mother and a woman leave her home They shall travel on to where the two shall be as one. As it was in the beginning is now and til the end Woman draws her life from man and gives it back again. And there is Love, there is Love. ![]() ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TekkI...eature=related ) Good morning, everyone! Thursday morning with a mug of East India Company's Assam tea. That's about all I can deal with right now... I woke up with another cold! Dammit. That's twice in the past few months! I'm still thinking about my son's wedding, and trying to figure out what to play for a wedding song for them... There are so many good guitar songs with happy themes. Of course, there is always "Hit the Road, Jack," "Close The Door Lightly When You Go," and "Breaking Up is Hard to Do," but I don't want to disillusion them so early in the game. ![]() Quote:
I doubled the amount of leaves and reduced the steeping time. I really like a lot of her ideas about making tea. They are much more broadminded than most of the 'instructional' pages that insist you need to use X seconds or Y amounts. Inspector Rebus and you! I'd love to taste that some time. Quote:
![]() And now a refill of the Assam tea and back to the guitar. That sure is a nice combination! Stitchawl |

Nope no baby. Just stress from work sucking and tennis problems and my not being able to let a bad day go. I would prefer being pregnant. I left work three hours early so I could take a nap. I was wiped out and wanted to be able to go to tennis lessons tonight.

Hmmm.... I just listened to that on YouTube. I'd never heard it before....
That's a really nice song! It's also my main style of playing guitar, the range of scale isn't 'too' far out of my singing reach, (some people have a two-octave reach. I have an interval of a Fifth...) and it's certainly mellow enough for a wedding! I think I'll check Chordie.com and see if I can deal with it. From the video it certainly looks easy enough to play; a simple five chord tune with nothing way out there.... Thanks for the suggestion! I'm always open to new music! Stitchawl |

This is the song my Husband chose for our first dance. Water for the moment. The good news is everything feels normal today and swallowing doesn't hurt. So tea at the office won't hurt today. Yes, I should have switched to water but tea has healing properties right? Last edited by ProfCrash; 05-26-2011 at 07:44 AM. |
