What the strag will think is that any man who can hitch the length and breadth of the galaxy, rough it, slum it, struggle against terrible odds, win through, and still knows where his towel is, is clearly a man to be reckoned with.

Tried to recreate the look after I washed my hair tonight, the hairdresser made it sound so easy. My hair tends to curl outward not inward so tomorrow I'm going to get a round brush and practice.

I don't know if this is a rant, a description of my day, or a joke. I just have to share this with somebody.

So ... I have the day from hell at work ... courtesy of my idiot coworkers.
I arrive home visualizing a Guinness.
My partner meets me at the door with these words: "Are you ready to see what YOUR kitten did to MY laptop?"
[I really want to answer "Hell No! She's your kitten too! You picked her out! Fix your own damn laptop"]
I reply: "Sure! Now what?"
I'm led to the afflicted laptop - now closed, which is dramatically opened to reveal ..... the desktop is now at a 90 rotation.
"No sweat I think - I'll just right click on it and uncheck the rotation."
But wait ... the touch pad controls are rotated too! I spend a hell of a long time trying to figure out how to get the tiny little arrow on the correct menu selection, cursing touch pads in general. The kitten lies on the floor watching me with huge yellow/green eyes of innocence. Partner is off scooping the litter box with a vengeance.

Lap top is eventually restored to normal orientation. Kitten is placed into kitten play pen. Guinness is located & consumed. Partner is still angry.

Going to be a long night.

As a matter of fact, it is BBQ sauce since I just came back from The Swinging Door. But I didn't quite get my fill of turkey there. A little tiny bite of chicken would do nicely right now.
