Where is remove Headers/Footers?

It's been a while since I opened Calibre and I was converting this book from PDF format to Mobi but I can't find the option to check "Remove Headers and Footers".

I converted the file and it looks lovely, but the page numbers are still interspersed at random throughout the text.

Is it just done automatically now or is the option right in front of my face?

It was replaced with the more flexible search and replace.

The remove header and footer options never did anything on their own. They would enable a user defined regular expression to be applied to the document replacing any matches with nothing.

Search and replace was added some time ago. It's in the left hand column in the conversion settings. It gives three regex inputs with corresponding replacement inputs. If the replacement text is blank the text is just removed when it matches.
