The Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia issued guidelines this week on what measures to take in case of a zombie apocalypse.

Personally, I think zombies are like cockroaches: They'll survive and thrive, as long as there's a good brain or two firmly encased in an easily accessible skull. (As an aside, I have found, through extensive studies, that cockroaches enjoy having their bellies rubbed, but that's another story that I must save for a later post.)

It's my understanding that zombies really only want affection - and my source cannot be revealed at this time, as he hasn't yet reached the stage of purification. Perhaps tomorrow I'll reveal his name. Regardless, I can only comment that he is someone high in MobileRead's hierarchy and that his name rhymes with "harp"...

So, rather than prepare for an apocalypse, perhaps we should think about inviting them in for dinner, or to meet one's particularly odious mother-in-law.
