Awesome

All there starwars books are taking too much space

And I've been wanting to read the end of the new Jedi order for some time, but never got around buying the paperback.

I also really liked the Zahn Trilogy. My favorite was the Hans Solo Trilogy. I'll be buying both of those.

Well, the sony store is useless. Just checked them and they don't have any Star Wars for pre-order. Just the 32 already out.

The first book in the Zahn Triology is shown on the Amazon Kindle site for release in Aug (why not June 28?). It also goes for 14.99!! They can forget it. If I want to reread it, I'll use the old paperbacks I have.

I'd love to have the ebook, but for 14.99 for a reread to replace a paperback? No way.

I agree, not going to do it for that kind of price. I'll dig out the original HC's and read those if I need a fix I guess. Looks like there's a new HC version being released with a list price of $30 so I suppose $14.99 is supposed to mean we're getting a bargain. This is a 20th Anniversary edition with a new Thrawn novella plus intro and annotations by the author.

+1. Those are the only Star Wars books I've read (due to much badgering by a friend). Liked them so much I ended up buying my own copy. I think I tried a couple others but I've never really gotten past the prologue/first chapter on those.

I think you are looking at the Heir to the Empire - 20th Anniversary re-release. It apparently has a new short story by Zahn in it. They are also releasing it in hardcover again which I assume is where the ebook price stems from.

Although $5.99-$6.99 would be better, $7.99 is certainly better than $14.99.

there are 2 Han Solo trilogies.

"Han Solo Adventures" Han Solo at Stars End, Han Solo's Revenge,Han Solo and the Lost Legacy by Brian Daley

The Paradise Snare, The Hutt Gambit, Rebel Dawn by AC Crispin

I didn't know there are two. The one I referred to was by Crispin. That starts with Han as a boy and ends with him in the bar on Tatooine with Chewbacca getting ready to ferry Obewan and Luke.

I didn't see that link, that is certainly much more reasonable, and I'll swing for that. Not terribly interested in a new novella on Thrawn.

Even at $7.99 it's still too pricey for me. $3.99 or even $4.99 I would've been interested.
