Well, I understand that : I've been programming for a living and for the last 17 years...
Anyway, I posted this message to raise your attention and see if, maybe, I wasn't the only one having this problem...
Now, I'll concentrate on trying to reproduce it and keep you informed !

Well, it looks like this guy has the same symptoms ...
I forgot to say that I did reboot in safe mode (first thing I tried) by resetting the reader while connected to USB, and it did work well : so, PRS+ was installed but not started, and no problem showed up.

There is a hidden limit on number of items you can "mount --bind", but so far PRS+ is below that limit.

Is it posible to implemente a scaling factor on prs 505 like on prs 650?

It is possible that the scaling factor might work for ePub. I cannot accurately answer that at the moment. The books loaded on my device are .TXT and .LRF and I am currently at work.

I did a quick search and I did not run across any evidence suggesting that this kconfig.xml custom scaling factor works on a 505. I cannot say this is for certain as I do not have a 505 model.

you could search these boards for JeffElkins PRSCustomizer utility and install it and see what options are in there.

The scale change will work on 505s and 300s as well.
It doesn't affect EPUBs though.

Regarding my battery drain problem, it happened again in the saturday/sunday night : I left my PRS-650 on the nighttable, with a 3/4 charge, and on the sunday morning it was turned off and impossible to turn back on. When plugged, it showed a "low bat." message.

I flashed with the latest russified firmware, and am using it since : still full, no weird "sure you want to turn off" message, no weird turning off when pushing the next page button...

Did you leave it on, or in sleep mode?
What did you do prior to that, did you play games?

I had spent about one hour reading an ePub book, and then switched it off (sleep mode actually), closed the (stock) cover over it and put it (flat, screen up) on my night table
