Hello All,

My name is Martha and just got a Sony Pocket Reader which I

for the e-ink and amazing portability. I debated back and forth over this or the Kindle which also looks amazing but the size and of course the ability to borrow library books won me over. To add to my new e-reader obsession, I am also getting a Nook Color. I honestly thought this was going to be the only reader for me but I really don't want to read for hours++ on a backlit screen. But I just could not help but be in awe of it's benefits as a color reader with an android OS too

Anyway I am a mom to two handsome fellas and a wife to my handsome husband. Looking forward to contributing, debating and growing with this community of fellow readers.

Thank you Kenneth. I see you chose the optimal route for ereading **sigh**...That would have been so ideal: Kindle and Ipad. Alas I chose the most budget friendly. Granted I really do favor portability.

Good to have your company, Martha. Sony's a sound choice. You'll find your reader and free Calibre Library software (http://www.calibre-ebook.com) a marriage made in heaven. Very best wishes. Neil

I will be spending nearly two months in Texas this summer/fall so I was really happy when I saw the title of your topic! If you need any help or advice regarding your ebooks, just ask anywhere here, the people are very nice and willing to help a newbie out
