if I had only waited 5 months... then I would have been enjoying the one I got for the last 5 months,lol. dang good deal considering the wifi is a watered down version of the 3 g.

It wasn't the WiFi version. It was the 3G version. Too late now. Sold out in just a few hours. It was supposed to have been a 3 day sale, but AT&T twit'd that the warehouses are empty.

i know it was 3g. i was stating this deal was far better than getting the dumbed down wifi version.

Yeah, that plan has no contract. It's month by month. So just don't activate your ipad and the month never starts.

Keep checking the site. Verizon busted out the ipad 64GB for $399 today so a bunch of people that bought the Galaxy Tab yesterday are trying to cancel because they bought the ipad today. So there might be some coming back in stock. Althought AT&T tends to ship insanely quick so it might be too late for most to cancel.

it's back up.

basically you're only paying about $215 + tax. it's no contract, only first month is required.

almost tempted to get one for my daughter, only problem is android's kids/education selection i weak compared to ios.

opps, maybe it's not. says ends the 15th. i was able to at least click the "get it now" button. i didn't go any further.
