68F now and suppose to be in the high 70'sF. No wind. Yesterday's wind knocked everything over on the patio, including one plant. The drive to work was interesting with small rocks, twigs, and dirt being blown around.

22°C here now maybe as low as 14 this morning.

bloke was just in the pool trying to change the valve, but we gave away all our dive gear.

He went in in his undies and a tool belt, with a hammer and axe head in the front pocket and a big hammer in the belt at the back. After a few failed attempts, he got too cold. Now we are going to obtain a weight belt to give him a better chance of staying down to do the job. Maybe convince him to put on a wet suit too.

He won't give up and pay the pool leak guy $350 to do it. The valve only costs $25.

We finally had some rain last night! Perfect timing as well, as it started to rain somewhere in the middle of the night and it had finished as we were getting up. The air smells fresh and clean for a change. And the temperature is very nice too.

clearly i slept RIGHT through the rain, though i saw the drippings at 5am when i got up. the drizzle has finally left and the sun is out. its a clean smelling spring day now.

Usually we get the remains of whatever weather comes your way, but it didn't so much as rain here last night. We did have a few clouds in the early morning hours, though.

Here (Argentina, South America) the weather is pretty much "hotter" or warmer than it should be by this time of the year mid autumn with a tendency to winter days.
1 week ago the average temperature dropped to a nearly minimum of 10°C and max of 24°C. But instead, it should be with a minimum of 8~9°C and max of 19°C (remember i m talking ON AVERAGE).
If we keep this way, this winter is gonna be a cold one.

I can't remember if it was lats year, or the o ne before that one, that snowed in Capital Federal (something like the Washington DC to EEUU); which is really weird. It hadn't snow since 1950.... so imagine the happiness of people seeing/feeling snow for the first time. (unless had travel south, something like 500~800Km)

Gloom! Smoky gloom! Drizzly gloom!

Out of control wildfires on the coast are producing smoke - that is drifting over the entire state. Outside you can taste & smell it - as if your neighbor had a smoky trash fire in theri back yard.

More rain/storms tomorrow.

Its killing my partner. She had an awful migraine last night when it rolled in. We need more rain, at least that would help wash some of it away. Is it raining in Durham? It looks like the bottom could fall out in RTP any second but it refuses to.
