It can be argued that making skin magazines unavailable to my eight-year-old daughter is a form of censorship; and while I believe in free speech, that form of "censorship" doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Also, your logic is flawed. It's a false equivalence. Copyright is the right of the owner to say "yes," while Censorship is the right of a third party to say "no."

To put it in little kid terms: Copyright is the right of the kid who says, "it's my ball." Censorship is that of the grumpy old man who says, "you can't play in my yard." Not the same.

It seems like everyone is making up their own definitions for copyright and censorship, that's not very logical IMO. Oh well.

Unfortunately you will find that is not the case at all. Censorship exists because a large majority of the population demands it, only a very small minority opposes it, and the remaining population just doesn't care one way or the other. A bit like copyright in that respect.

Well, I was just trying to point out that censorship is copyright, which I say it is, so it is. Just like someone says copyright is ownership so it is. Whether or not any of this means anything is not for anyone to decide.

I used No one is in favor of censorship since it seemed simpler than saying Some people dislike censorship.
