Yes, there's the issue of Libraries (basically virtual directories) as well as software apps that like to create a Documents/Pictures/Music/etc folder if they don't find one where they expect it to be. I've learned to manage them the hard way, but they can actually be quite useful once they've been beaten into submission. I have a main Documents folder in my User Data partition, my default Music folder is on my Media partition, but I have others used for other things in other locations. Libraries let you see them all in one place no matter where they are located. I actually have two music libraries - My Music (the standard - iTunes, etc) and Studio Music (recordings, reference files and renders). Sorry, sometimes I get geeky in the mornings. ![]() |

Our pump is above ground as we are on a fairly level block. I still think the hydrostatic valve is leaking. And now we find out the pool is supposed to be on some State safety register, but it is not! I think the council(who were supposed to pass on all the pools info) must have lost all their old records. |

Hope you find the leak.
Pool season hasn't started yet here, but I've already replaced the pump for our above ground pool and replaced the leaky hose (discovered when I started the new pump) with pvc piping. Last week I ordered another Polaris 65 pool cleaner. We got one with the pool 12 years ago, but I ragged that one to death and have been cleaning the pool by hand for the past few years. This year I felt lazy, so I ordered another one. In less than two days, all the leaves and crud were gone from the bottom of the pool. It's kind of fun to watch it work. Here's a video of the Polaris from a Pool Supply store: |

http://www.zodiac.com.au/products/cl...ction-cleaners It mostly does the job, but we have a beach area, and in-pool seats at the "bar" where it can't go, so we still have to manually do that bit (especially when the palms start raining their fruit into it). But we're in there after most bike rides from about mid-spring to mid-autumn, so we just pop the hose off the 'cuda (we call him "Zoidberg") and suck up the debris. We love Zoidberg. Anything that reduces house maintenance time. Cheers, Marc |

Ours is a barracuda, aging a lot so he has dodgy parts and fix ups. Whenever I ask the pool bloke for a new skirt (I will pay) he brings be another old one for free!
Bloke has fashioned a bit of pipe to put on the end of the hose for manual sucking. |

Reminds me of a Fat Freddie's Cat comic strip I once read. After searching the house, and finding no evidence of the Cat being a "bad kitty", Fat Freddie opens the door so the Cat can go out. As the Cat is leaving, it thinks, "Heh! Heh! Just wait 'till he puts on his headphones!"
