we replaced it with a Tempurpedic mattress. They do a size called "waterbed insert" that is about 1/2 inch small, so that you can get the sheets on. It takes california king size sheets. Quote:
The findings, sheet silver, etc are gone, but the stones stayed in their storage boxes, which stayed in the room, so we found them. I am donating the machines and equipment and stones to our lapidary club. They will use them for group jewelry making social gatherings. We get together and use all of the club equipment. Now, my own personal collection is another matter. I hope that whoever finds the 4 ct Lightning Ridge opal will have it assayed, and not just think it is a pretty rock. It will buy them a new car!

**I'd love to see that opal rock ** Just to share with others... My local Red Cross secretary was very helpful. You can purchase a prepaid credit card and use it to direct funds not to just the general tornado fund, but to multiple specific areas. You can even do it without giving your name if you wish. They said it usually costs between $100 to $150 a day for a family of four and is most needed as time moves on and they are out of the major news.

What Dreams said. You guys gave us almost $1,000, but today Alfa Ins gave us a cash advance for living expenses. It would make us happy if you would continue to contribute to the Concord community of Hueytown, Alabama via the Red Cross. I don't know how we can ever thank you all for the love and filthy lucre over the past week. But we do thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. (Keep getting Tim's book. He is so cute! That makes him so happy when the email shows another one sold. He thinks that is going to be "his" money! |

Wow! Do any of these shots show the closet you two were in? I see a clothes closet, and another louvered door to something.... #109 -- where the house is on TOP of the welcome mat -- clearly shows that the whole house was lifted and gently (?) set down again. Wow! I'm glad God was at least a little bit gentle with you two. (At least, more so than with any of your neighbors!) Yes, I imagine it is hard to be on the receiving end of help. But just think -- now you'll have even BETTER knowledge of how to help others the next time. So glad you are doing well, and that you have been able to let us know so. Still praying -- Deb |

! That closet with the sliding door leaning on It ... The one with the hole where a limb came through above our heads is the closet we hid in.

Just finished reading (well, skimming) your husband's book. I thought I recognized a CPAP hose in one of those pictures! I and my ex both use one too. And yes, Tim probably needs to write a chapter about this current mammoth life experience!! Maybe after you get into a new house, and it's all behind you. |

When stuff started caving in on us in the closet, it sort of braced the debris against itself. My former co-workers have another theory. They say Tim is lucky. They say I'm too danged mean to kill! |

do you know if your neighbors were trying to find shelter, or were they trying to ride it out without protection?
