I'm fine, just too busy to post a lot I'm getting a little exhausted, I've had some long days last week and it's not going to improve in the next couple of months. But I'm glad things are picking up again at work. I need some pressure and stress to perform well

I currently have about a 2-3 month supply under my (big) desk. One of the local supermarkets had a bogof offer on six packs.

Still okay I guess. Some people are simply unbearable. That man... oh no, here I go again. I'm trying not to complain much. To sum up, things are getting tougher for me, but I know what you would say, "Wait until you go to work!"

Big tea score in Osaka today!
I found a tin of Fortnum & Mason's 'Royal Blend,' which had been my favorite tea for many years until I could no longer get it. Only one left on the shelf and I grabbed it!

A new tin of Ahmad English Breakfast tea... Good timing as I'm down to my last couple of cups of the stuff.

A Japanese brand of Assam GTFOP1 to try out. Very cheap. If it works, I'll be a happy camper! I'm going to try a cup right after I feed the cat!

I looked it up on the Fortnum and Mason web site. They do export sales, but shipping to Japan is £50!

Hmmm.... It's not bad. But it's definitely not up to the level of East India Company Assam tea. Of course, that's three times the cost, but it's worth it!

Actually, I can get it shipped more cheaply than that, but still not cheap enough to make it worthwhile. Often getting something shipped to the US, then having my forwarding company ship it on to me here comes out a lot cheaper.

When meeting my wife last Sunday in Gatwick I stumbled upon tins of Ahmad English Breakfast...held one in my hands, then put it back.
1 tin £6.50?!?
Just a tiny bit over the top I would say. I could buy 3 for 2, still too expensive. I decided I have enough blends in my London stash to last me for a few years. Meanwhile a tin or two might appear in TKMaxx for £2.50-3.50

Tea is good but right now it is water, another very warm day in the office.

Mediocre Keemun.

Btw., I have tried to brew TEIC's Keemun for 4min instead of 3min. I liked it. I did it twice and twice it was tasty.
I am brewing NBTea's Keemun right now and I set timer for 5 minutes.
Maybe China Black differs from Indian and Ceylon black teas.
We will see. The experiment goes on!
