That's a regression, will be fixed in the next release ina couple of days. In the meantime you can use the commandline html2lrf command to convert the HTML files.

Thanks, kovidgoyal. Commandline html2lrf works. The converting take a long time but the book looks really great. The only not so good page is the table of content. Is there any solution or settings (I want to still keep tables in the book)? http://smartmadsoft.com/temp/toc.html

Simplest solution is to manually edit the file and remove the <table> tag. Leave the <tr> and <td> tags.

code below <p><em>To Jonathon, who never freaks about my choice of research. He took away my serial killer books, at my request. When I was ready he gave them back. He's helping me understand that just because someone else thinks you're a monster doesn't mean you are. Even if that person says they love you. Here's to finding love that builds you up, instead of breaking you down.</em></p> <p style="page-break-after: always;"></p> one thing I have noticed is that my html editor (KompoZer) keeps inserting a ";" after the always is this a problem ? again thx muchly for your assistance in advance.. |

				font limitations?

I'm having a problem, but I'd like to try to figure out if it's a limitation of the Reader before I try to ask for a "fix" to html2lrf.

I have tried to format some text with a sans-serif font, bold, and italicized, but I can't seem to get that combination out of libprs500. Does the Reader even contain this character set? I've tried both <strong> and <b> tags for bold, as well as both <em> and <i> for italics. I have not tried a CSS implementation. Any advice? |

The reader has neither bold nor italic typefaces. It simulates both by hacking the fonts (it thickens the font for bold and slants it for italics). I dont remember if it supports both bold and italic at the same time, one way to test is to see the file in libprs500's inbuilt viewer.
